Just been surfing the web for 2011 MY deals but stumbled up on this with a huge saving -

Damn beautiful bike. My LBS has one in stock and I am trying to persuade Mrs Gooby to buy. It is a good ride too (the bike)

Thats a nice looking bike, and a good deal, but no way was it worth 2400 dollars....

So at that money then it is a bit of a steal non?

I hadn't considered a Hookooo wotsit until I saw this deal and, well, everybody likes a bargain don't they!?

I considered one of these when I got my bike when the 2010 models were current model year. It was highly recommended by my LBS but I wasn't keen on the colour scheme and ended up getting a Boardman Pro. Not sure where Evans get their original price of £1799 from though - the list price was £899 when I was considering it in 2010! confused

The RRP is absurdly ridiculous - It's a £800/900 bike IMO. Doesn't stop it being a good deal now, though.
