Sorry Hui but when I got home and inspected the wheel its cracked on the rear bead

Are these wheels alloy or mag which will make the difference if its repairable Does anyone know

They are mag.
Once they are cracked they are finished frown

Just to add to the earlier post, the Tuscan wheels have a very large offset on the inside and this is susceptible to twist and bending. Once cracked any weld will lose the flexibility of the casting and the wheel will crack alongside the weld. I spoke with some CAA aircraft welders who said it would be dangerous to try and weld these wheels bearing in mind the forces they go through. I can get any bent and uncracked wheels straightened though.

Dymag repaired one of my De Tomaso Campagnola magnesium wheels which was both cracked and bent several years ago but you may wish to look at this company: http://www.framestraightsystem.com/Video.htm

That is pretty interesting stuff. It is a pity I didn't keep any of the badly damaged wheels I had a few years back! I shall have to see if I can find another wheel and maybe give them a go. Hui
