The Beast is Back !
Discussion
Finally after 22 months (677 days to be exact) the Beast is back !
My wife collected the car yesterday after it spending 2 weeks at Walldonway (new carpets (replaced due to water damage caused by previous owner), new kick plates, leven hand brake, new rear S03's, 24,000 service & MOT)
We moved house at the weekend (now living in Ashford), so we took the car on a small blast to Canterbury & back last night at dusk.....
IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK !!!!

"Off the road"....
It all went horribly wrong about 2 years ago when within 3 months both me & my wife lost our jobs, so the Cerb got put into storage (to save money). We couldn't bring our selves to sell it, and it was costing us virtually nothing, so we left it sitting in the garage (being started every 2 weeks).
Anyway, in the last 6 months, we have both finally got jobs paying the same (or more) than we were earning when we bought the Cerb, and we moved house on Friday ! So it's the start of a new chapter !

Nice to hear good news stories, things turning around etc. Good luck for the future.
I can't begin to imagine the anguish that two-weekly visits to the storage facility to turn the engine over must have caused. It's bad enough for me having to go away for 10 day business trips. I'm usually gnawing on the BA arm-rests by the end of these trips in anticipation of a quick blat.
