Had my alternator belt shred itself late last night, and rather than pull up and call for breakdown decided I should head home (5-10 mins). Luckily managed to get there without lights dying/engine exploding. I called Andy at Autolink early this morning and luckily he had time to get the car in today. Within half an hour of the low loader dropping off my car I was able to drive home again, car right as rain.

So a big thanks to Andy and the chaps down at Autolink, another good job.

Hmm i need the cambelt doing on the '5 at some point in the nearish future. I don't think Autolink are a million miles from me.

Do they have an area on their website for garage services? Can't seem to find one.

Had my cam belt sorted last Oct with them and it was good value compared to local places / main dealer. Also you know you're dealing with people who know the mx5 inside out (literally, just take a walk around the yard!)

They're based in Swanmore area which is not that far from Southampton / Winchester, just make sure you follow the directions on the website, not your satnav smile

they did clutch/gearbox for me a few weeks ago at very very short notice, great job and very reasonable.

I did however spend 8 hours walking around bishops waltham!

Great, thanks - i'm in Newbury, so it's just a blast down the A34. From what i've read it's worth the trip compared to a local place. smile

I've used them countless times for parts and they've always been great - if you're a MX5 OC member I believe you also get a discount.

Used them mail order for heater matrix hoses and were spot on.
