would you buy a 83,000 mile car with no service history? car in question is a 1999 mitsubishi colt, 1.6, pictures seem like its in good condition and is up at a good price?

opinions!?

Condition, condition, condition and condition

A fully stamped up book means you have a book full of stamps and nothing more

As above. The car is too old to worry about service intervals. Buy on condition only. Would still be nice to know if it's been serviced recently mind.

My beemer has next to bugger all in terms of paperwork, and a fully stamped book.

Means nothing.

It's less than £600....... Haggling, start at £400, aim for £500.

Even if it lasts 6months, that's cheap motoring
