IsoFix Front Seats?

Thinking of an early Cooper S for the Mrs, but we’d need (or certainly prefer) Isofix for the front seat.

Any idea if this is / was available? If so from when?

I know that early minis did not have IsoFix but dont know when they were fitted

Don't think it was ever an option for the front. Was an option for the rear and the fixing holes where there from 2000 but not really fitted till 2002 which I think was when the S was launched. Can be retrofitted if needed but it means cutting the fabric of the seat. Quite easy to do, however I have removed many more than I have fitted
