I am to attend a wedding this weekend and the bride-to-be has asked me if I could transport the 4 bridesmaids to the church. Naturally I said I would.

I have access to either a Discovery 3 or a Range Rover Sport. Both are in HSE trim, are in muted colours and have privacy glass. Whilst the Discovery is cosmetically perfect, the RRS has a couple of very minor cosmetic blemishes (e.g. kerbed alloys).

If either was equipped with the V8 petrol engine, or I had access to a Vogue, I wouldn't have started this topic. As it is, I have asked the bride-to-be what she thinks and she's not fussed. Same response when I asked one of the bridesmaids. So I thought why not ask on here?

RRS - people will be looking at the bridesmaids not the alloys smile

Personally I think the Range Rover Sport would suit the job better due to its image.

The Disco (*whilst a lovely car in its own right) may appear better placed in a more, how should I say it , agricultural environment.

I've got an old Freelander MK1 if you want to make the journey a bit more 'hit or miss' for fun? smile

RRS are vulgar and have no class, go for the Disco

Range Rover Sport is a good looking car..unfortunately 'scum with money' like them very much!!..the Disco has the better image in my opinion..ideally a proper Range Rover would do the job..but I will concede that a standard fettle Sport in a muted colour will be fine on this occassion as long as there is an absence of geezers called Wayne and women called Chardonnay in see-through heels!!

Thanks for the responses.

I'm going to use the Discovery, a decision bolstered by a couple of the recent threads on GG hehe

Sure they would fit in a RRS - for such a big car, they are remarkably small inside.

whistle

I'd go for the Disco, but then I've always liked them.

If the bride's name is Chantelle, the Range Rover Sport.

If the bride's name is Charlotte, the Discovery.
