Seems like a mental health issue to me, wonder if he is getting any treatment.
I can see though the whole point about questioning society's 'predjudicies and intolerances'

Urgh - BBC news link. I honestly dont bother even clicking or watching any news broadcast by the BBC anymore. I prefer to keep my blood pressure low. Seems like a mental health issue to me, wonder if he is getting any treatment.

Wait till the Daily Mail link naked rambling to falling house prices in rural areas whilst illegal immigrants squat in the rambler's house and require government grants to fill the empty wardrobes.M3333 said:

I think I might query who's mental health issue it is - his or the collective Scottish judiciary and the local Police.Seems like a mental health issue to me, wonder if he is getting any treatment.

At the end of the day, all he's doing is wanting to walk around starkers. We have all got a body and, leaving to one side for a minute whether or not you think it should be clothed, at the end of the day he's not doing any harm. He might be acting like a bit of a prick (no, that's definitely the wrong term to use in this context but never mind
) but, if the majority of people can't see somebody walking about starkers and live with it, then there's someting wrong with them as well. The first person to post something along the lines of "think of the children" will get a 2000-word PM from me explaing how my kids (now aged betyween 24 and 38) went on many naturist holidays when they were younger and all survived the lack of trauma.
If I remember this story correctly, the guy started his naked walk from Lands End to John O Groats some years ago, and everybody turned a blind eye, as it were, until he crossed the Haggisland border, when all the fuss kicked off.
I have said above that I have been on naturist holidays but I must say that I have never thought of north of Carlisle as being a particularly warm place in which to do it, but each unto his own.
I think this whole story makes the Scottish legal system look like a bunch of prudish Victorian idiots. Presumably the Procurator Fiscal keeps all his table legs covered at home - just in case ...

Why is it always the ugly freaks who like to get naked ?
There was a documentary about him a couple of years ago; his girl-friend, Melanie, was quite attractive. He is very aggressive, and is not supported by the naturist lobby.
The docu showed him at a restaurant, where he didn't put anything on the seat before sitting down (I think most naturists are scrupulous about hygiene). Having finished his meal he licked the plate clean.
Whatever the merits, or otherwise, his attitude and lack of manners really don't help his cause.

Fact is why would most people want to see his chap. He is very aggressive, and is not supported by the naturist lobby.

And doesn't he think its a bit odd to let children see his chap? Surely there is a risk to him of being branded a peado when he is assumingly no such thing.
I'd also not want my chap out in the cold for obvious reasons - maybe he is well hung and likes to show it off hence very attractive lady who loves big johnsons
Whatever your thoughts on naturism or nudity it's a ridculous and sad state of affairs.
Whilst I understand the contempt of court and laws argument, you can't just keep putting a man back in jail at the publics expense (ooh sorry went all DM for a minute) by waiting outside as he is released! And for two years??
