Best time to travel from wolvohamton to manchester?

I am new to motorway driving and need to pick something up from Manchester and i live in Wolverhampton, I will be going up and down the M6 would you say Sunday would be the best day to go for the least traffic on the roads? how busy is the m6 on a Sunday? i can go at pretty much any time between 6am to 12pm,i am only 19 and all my driving has been on normal town roads this is my 1st time other than on lessons i will have been on the motorway, I don't really have any worries or concerns but as its my 1st time i would like to go when its relatively quite and not much traffic about.

I can imagine that early Sunday morn would be best, but can't see you having traffic problems at any time on a Sunday unless of course there's an accident. Personally I don't like using motorways at the weekends, or holiday times thinking about it, because the level of driving standards is worse than it is for a normal working week day.

If you're worried about traffic, etc (cause the M6 can be a nightmare sometimes!) then yeah.. 1st thing Sunday morning you should be absolutely fine
