One of the guys has dropped out, cost €160 inc booking fee, looking for £100. Can either post S/D or meet at circuit, but will need to sort tonight or tomorrow.

PM me if interested... no unreasonable offer refused, but bear in mind there is beer to be purchased!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought it was a bit optimistic... £50 for a full w/e ticket? Any takers?

Apart from just a few Grandstands, tickets were available at the La Source entry , even on race morning. So, I would guess if you bought one from our man here on the cheap, you would , in all likelihood, be able to buy the other one (almost for sure on a Fri/ Sat & possibly even race day again. )
If it not a numbered seat, that will work out OK. Stop making excuses & come drink some Belgian beer ! !

I have no tickets at the moment but would like to go. Is it worth taking a risk and just turning up and hoping to get tickets there?

Being a Spa (or even F1) virgin, despite being a massive fan, I have never been but don't want to book hotels, ferry, etc then turn up and cant get in or have to pay massively over the odds on the day.

Any advice greatly received!!

Buy my spare ticket - meet me at campsite - exchange pounds for tickets and you are good to go, but I understand I could just be a front for a money making scam??????????? :-)

Powelly,

I would potentially buy yours but I need more than one...I thought it would be a great way to spend the bank holiday with the Mrs, hence my question about getting tickets once I'm there...

I can only talk for last year ( I will update you on the situation at the end of the afternoon tomorrow if you like)

Last year, even on race day, they were selling tickets at the La Source entrance, for virtually all the grandstands, & of course General Admission.

Due to a cock-up by an agency, I arrived without a ticket in 2009, & was also able to buy a weekend ticket for the uncovered grandstand at Eau Rouge, so. . . I would say, if you want to go, give it a try, think (! ? ) you will be OK.

There were still Bronze tickets for sale (145€ for race day / 160€ the weekend ) at 1645L when I left the circuit at the La Source entrance.

Chucked it down all day, tomorrow is supposed to be a bit better , Sun (unfortunately ! ) is supposed to be dry.

Enjoy yourself ! !
