I can't see him being captured alive by an elite and highly trained crack commando unit per se, whose mission is to bring him In alive at all costs. He will be stumbled upon randomly, will return fire and will be dead before the end of the month... IMO.

Let's keep this in the lounge mods, this is not political news. Thanks!

My second guess is the last option (my first guess being the first option).

Option 'A' please followed by being paraded round Tripoli hanging by his ankles from the back of a truck.

Or possibly he is already in Somalia or some other god forsaken african backwater having paid hundreds of million of dollars to the president/despot of said country for the right to live there without extradition.

Im not really all that vengeful so i don't "hope" for the top option, although I'm not too fussed either way, as he's 'lost his power' already, so to speak. I'd say the job is more or less done, although some might feel the chaps fighting over there are only 'half way there...'

Some of the things he said in recent months did make me wonder if there was any outcome other than the first, though. Is anyone taking bets? biggrin

Those immediately around him are likely pumped up on "the last stand!" juice, and those same people are likely to have huge wads of cash from him, of their own. I'd guess!

Yeah, but remember that once he's dead there is no come back to them. And a lot of the guys are African mercenary's anyway who will have little regard for Gadaffi.

He should go and hide in bin Laden's old gaff. They'd never think to look for him there.

He has lost his power (more or less), but i think his death will be the best chance of proper closure for the Libyan people. Gadaffi shot, and his family exiled / tried for war crimes.

A clean break, if you like.

Wherever it is he can't be far away, I saw the Rebels spitting on his golf cart yesterday. ITV even confirmed that.. yes... that IS Gadaffi's golf cart. So he's without his wheels and on foot.

Rumour has it that Andy McNab and his chums are on the case.

Option 1 for me.

London. At 10:18 on the morning of 17 April 1984 a Sterling submachine gun was fired from a window of the Libyan embassy in St James's Square into a group of protestors, striking eleven people including WPC Yvonne Fletcher. The unarmed officer died of a stomach wound approximately an hour after arriving at hospital. The British public reacted with horror to the third murder of a British policewoman.

He might be mad, but he's not that that mad.

I can't see him looking out of the window at the mayhem in Tripoli, and thinking "Christ on a bicycle, it's like a bad night in Bolton out there. I know, I'll cheer myself up by going out for a nice round of golf - now, where's my golf cart? I'm sure I parked the bloody thing round here somewhere".

Hence, I suspect he wasn't that bothered about leaving the golf cart, his clubs and probably the caddy - chances are he didn't like him anyway - behind in the DaffyBunker while he legged it down a tunnel to some alternate Bunker-type facility.

I don't think they'll take him alive though. What everyone seems to be forgetting is that for years his personal bodyguard has been an all-female hand-picked group of highly trained, young, nubile extremely fit killer crumpet, who will do anything, anything at all, for the Great Leader.

It follows therefore that as we speak, they're assisting him to fulfil his final wish, namely to shag himself to death. It might take days, but that's the way it will end. Mark my words.
