Anyone know off hand what the torque settings are on the 280 V6 head bolts?

Also, what do you reckon to me using the original pushrods and followers on the new head block? or should I keep all the bits from the new heads together?

Hi Mate..Just looked in the ford manual and it says..

Stage 1.39nm to 54nm/ 29lbf ft to 40 lbf ft.
Stage 2.54nm to 69nm/ 40lbf ft to 51 lbf ft
Stage 3.(After 10 to 20min wait)95nm to 115nm/ 70 lbf ft to 85 lbf ft.
It then says Stage 4.(After running engine for 15 minutes at 1000rpm) Back off 1/2 a turn and retorque one bolt at a time to stage 3 value

All it says as regards to pushrods is check for wear and making sure they havent bent..Lubricate with engine oil and then insert them..Ziga
