Depends on the driving.

If I didn't need much in the way of practicality I'd likely go for the M3.

M3, correct wheel drive and a proper sporting saloon. RS6 is extremely fat with dampers and gearboxes that like to fall apart. S4 is by all accounts a dynamic turd.

E46 M3 every time, after various PHer friends owning fast Audis I would never buy an "S" or "RS" Audi just my personal preferance.

I went with e46 m3,but if you had gave the option of the RS4 V8 model this would have got my vote,sublime motor!

If you are after a drivers car, there is only one on that list IMHO.

(That's not to say the S4 and RS6 aren't good cars)

Heart would say RS6.. that bellowing twin-turbo V8 is just sublime. But knowing they can land you with some hilarious repair bills, head says M3.
