Olympus SZ-30MR question..

Having just got one, does anyone else who has one also have a buzzing/adjustment type noise when the shutter button is being held?
Seems to happen regardless of zoom.Mine is brand new but may have to go back as it seems a little odd to me.Is it normal?

If it has a Servo continuous focus mode and it's in use then it could be that. Or possibly something to do with Image Stabilisation applied during preview?

You may need to ask Olympus or on one of the dedicated Olympus centric forums for a conclusive answer.

Also, if anyone was wondering what the x24 zoom was like, well, here you go..

Camera was on Auto, it was raining, default settings etc.I just looked out of the side window of the cab
and snapped away.I added in some orange dots so you can see in the first image exactly what I was zooming
in on.

Not bad for a little lightweight!
