Taking the family down to Longleat Safari Park for the weekend towards the end of September and i'm trying to find somewhere to stay. As well as my clan, my friend and his family are coming too! So that means we've got 4 adults and 4 kids.

I was going to book a hotel but we've been chatting and think it might be easier if we get a cottage or something somewhere. That way we can all stay together, split the cost, kids can play together, etc.

There are plenty of places on the web but some are a lot more expensive than others, and i would rather go to somewhere that has been recommended, than somewhere i randomly choose online.

I believe Longleat is very popular so i'm hoping that some PHers out there can recommend somewhere?

We stayed at bythebyreholidays.com cottages. Family run farm and very nice places. Not far from longleat either.

I checked the Center Parcs website, and for the weekend (Fri-Mon) it came to about £500.

A bit more than i was planning on spending for a weekend away! frown

A blatant plug for my website, but I think it may help you!

www.best-hotels-prices.com

Compares 2.5 million hotel deals worldwide, with over 2 million user reviews. It basically taps into a feed from ALL the major booking sites, saving you time and effort by doing an all-in-search. Let me know how you get on?

Cheers
