WRX with PPP or equiv for me personally. I've always thought the r32 was overated. Sure it makes a nice noise but that's about it IMO. WRX is a fair bit quicker and handles better for my money albiet I've only spent limited time in both of them. I would guess the scoob would be more reliable too.
Horses for courses, I suppose they're similar cars in quite a few ways. If you can't split them any other way just make it a financial decision.

Hi,
I have owned a 2002 STI and currently own a 53 plated R32. both completely different to drive, test them out and see which you prefer. I had no problems what so ever with the STI and kept it for 18 months, really enjoyed it. Now that I am a bit older I am liking the R32, a smoother ride and more comfortable, I suppose a bit like me in that it is more grown up. Again, I have had no problems with the R32 and really enjoying it. On the money side of things I would think that you would loose less on the R32.The WRX will feel a fair bit faster due to the turbo and in real life is a bit faster. There is an "image" attached to both and I prefer the "image" of the R32 now. Which ever you choose I think you will enjoy it.
