Is this noise just a UJ
Discussion
I've posted up a lap of Rockingham, you can here the noise best around 0:50, and 1:28
only problem I could find with the car was a UJ had some play, would a UJ make this much noise ?

Leigh i think if it were the UJ's im sure the noise would be there when you power on as this wourl load up the joints.
I gess you have looked at all the geo at the rear and checking for any thing rubbing.
Im sure you will find out what the prob is.

The rear shock mounts have been redesigned, so don't think it's them as they are way over kill.
There is a separate knock on power what I think is the UJ, hence thinking the scraping noise is something else, it was making it when the the rear nut was loose, and then when the front end was cracked, hence thinking it was that.
could I have damaged the wheel bearing when the hub nut was loose.
Someone else has said it could be the LSD has worn out.
If you suspect the LSD let out a little bit of fluid into a cup and check if for particles. If the plates have worn a lot it'll be like silver paint coming out.
You could also jack up the back wheels and run the engine on idle in various gears and listen for noises, make sure you chock the front though! ;^) And don't get underneath it!
