This other thread just reminded me about what happened the other night... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

See what you think of my story...

I went to the Cinema just the other night with my girlfriend and it was quite busy due to 'The Inbetweeners' movie being shown. As I drove through the cinema's car park, the attendant got my attention and told me to park in a disabled bay that was un-occupied. So I proceeded and reversed into the bay. It was at this point I thought, hang on - I'm not disabled, nor do I hold a disabled parking badge to display. I asked him if this would be OK to park here and he said "it's fine, the car park is private".

Anyway, I felt quite uncomfortable doing so, with a thought he'd just clamp/ticket my car anyway once I've gone in to see the film. I moved the car and found another bay near by that was non-disabled.

Has anyone else been put in this situation? Could I trust the parking attendant, or is it just a money maker for him? No biggy, just curious if this is a common thing to happen? Glad I moved it anyway, just incase.
