I'd like to hear more about that, to be honest.

You say that you're 'only 21' - judging from your juvenile user name I would have thought you were much younger.

Looks tidy. How do you find the sound of the car with the de-cat, ITG and exhaust? I've got a de-cat on the way for mine, running standard induction but with the resonator pipe removed so I get a roar when the VIS kicks in.

Your reply is pretty juvenile tbh,why bother to post if you can only come out with something negative not setting a very good example as an elder to a juvenile are you? i am only 19 and can see how immature your reply was.if you look below his name you will see he created his account 36 months ago making him 16 at the time.

Nice cars anyway OP always had a soft spot for the saxo.

A little constructive feedback?

The orange indicators clash horribly with the red and the green and the red clashes horribly with the green and the orange. De-tango the indicators, lose the red stripe and maybe silver or grey for the wheels?

The lettering on your numberplate is wonky too, anal I know but attention to detail is everything.

Also pepper pig should stay but he needs a hat or other equally silly accessory. Perhaps a canoe or portable BBQ?

+1

Although I though the peppered pig was female?

Love the idea of a 180, what are running costs like? Some of the aftermarket exhausts make them sound pretty epic, although not cheap IIRC.

IMHO, the wheels don't suit it at all, I find the lighter colours suit the dark paintwork best, and I'd echo the above comment of maybe sourcing some clear indicator lenses? Still a great car all the same and that KV6 is a very nice engine indeed smile

Rover aint bad and agree about the colour coding posted above. Looks like decent car really.

That Saxo needs it's original rear lights fitted and the Lexus style ones burnt. Fit a normal plate without Playboy addition and throw that plate surround away while your at it. Have a look for some VTS alloys too, will look tenfold better.

Also, that Maestro on the drive? Tell us more...

In my experience, quite costly. Find one which has had it's cambelts done, it's an engine dropped, special tools job normally. Decent tyres and good pads/disks are needed. The clutch on mine has gone after 34,000 but that is most likely from my lack of mechanical sympathy. Needs a decent form of induction to get a better V6 growl in my opinion.

Also, some people with a lighter foot than me have managed 30mpg, I have never seen that from mine.

Having said all that, I love my 180. The are absolute bargains at the moment "Because it's a Rover and you can't get parts for them".

Hi all. Cheers for the comments. I have got a set of clear indicators to go on the front of the zs. The wheels are being changed tomorow for another set of black rims, without the red stripe, running costs wise, I dont find it too bad. If you treat it with a bit of respect it will return 30mpg (just). The engine note is absolutely immense with the decat and induction. As for the maestro, it belongs to my uncle. It has got a t16 turbo conversion and iirc about 225bhp. Needs work on it though. The saxo has just gone and been replaced with an mgf. For the grand sum of 100 pounds. Needs a bit of work but I don't mind getting my hands dirty. Cheers. Ste
