Alarm backup trouble

Anyone got any tips on sorting the alarm backup out as mine has a mind of its own at the moment. I've disconnected the battery at the moment and the alarm is still sounding although it is just making a sort of clicking noise. I assume that it will eventually die but i want to go to bed as I've been up nearly 36 hours!

If you haven't already done it, follow the sound & cut the wires to the siren.
It'll make a bit of noise from there on in, but 'll soon die.

Left it chirping overnight then spoke to Carl in the morning. Disconnected the siren temporarily until he can have a look at the car. Due to its age I'll probably get the alarm updated

I had the upgrade done on mine a few years ago by Carl.

He makes it so simple to sort, just plug in the upgraded unit into the existing wiring.

Also with the upgrade you get the newer fobs which don't seem to fall apart like the old ones did plus you get the code so you can easily get a new fob programmed if you ever need to.

It's definitely a worthwhile upgrade for the reliability and the added security.
