Usually running my Cup car on slicks on track days, after some six years and a season of hillclimbs and sprints I have finally mullered my 'wets', a set of standard 17" Pirelli P Zero Corsas.

My dilemna is whether to replace them with same in the knowledge on a drying track they will last, or go for full race wets, i.e. Avon cut slicks or similar. Anybody any experience of this??

Thanx in advance....

Race wets are great, better than great in proper wet conditions in fact, and you should be able to get part-worns from the Clio race series but they will die very quickly on a drying track.
