Anyone know of a company that will insure my UK registered kit-car so I can drive it when I'm back in the UK? Tried Adrian Flux but they can only insure UK residents. I was born in the UK, hold a British passport, UK license and have lived here since I was born but moved abroad a couple of years ago.

Seems a shame to have it sitting in the garage unloved frown

Ok, after a bit of digging around there seems to be a couple of possible options:

Footman James
Stuart Collins

Trouble is neither are open until Tuesday I guess. Any other PH expats used either of them or know if they'll be able to quote on a kit car?

So you're looking to insure a car that is already kept, registered and SORN'd here in the UK? Surely this is all to a UK address then? Can't you just insure it to that address? Or have you any friends or family who will let you insure the car at their address?

Yup! Car's registered in my name, at my parent's address here in the UK (as it has been for the last 10 years). The "problem" seems to be that I now spend more than 6 months a year outside of the UK. Why do insurance companies have to make this so hard....
