Cannot help on the negatives, but every time I drive my 6, it feels special.
Options can make a big difference, No Sat Nav seems to make a car very difficult to sell, I like the HUD and the Logic7 is pretty impressive.
My wife has a 2002 330i and the engine is lovely, In the 630 I believe it has an extra 40 BHP.
I have had mine for a couple of months now and am seriously impressed.
I think the 6 is a superb 2 seater with a rear parcel shelf that looks like a rear seat without the leg room.
In researching mine, there were no frequent common issues. It uses the 5 series chassis as a base, so should be OK. There is a potential issue, which is very / quite rare. It is some sort of module that can cost £1500 to fix via a specialist. I think the golden rule is to leave a £1500 "Just in case" fund or have a good warranty. If you never need it, happy days!
