Trick to putting knee vent in?

Hi all.

The passenger knee air vent fell out a while back and its been bugging me, as I can't get the little bugger back in. Its the plastic flap that's dropped out - is there a trick to reattaching it?

This happened to one of the dash vents on mine.

It's hard enough to see where the bits go with the vent in place but if you pop the vent out you will find it easy to see where the flaps go back in.

I though I had pics of it apart but I can't find them here but if i find them tomorrow on the computer in the office I'll post them for you.

Feel free Mick, if you don't have bank holiday plans and you're round the area, I'll be running the Cerbera tomorrow. Although I have already felt like taking a hammer to the car a few times, today is not one of those days. Today has been heavenly.

Ireland, thanks. I just need it reattaching for those rare occasions when the whinger comes along. Hot air pours through the vent even with the fans off so that can be eliminated to an extent with the vent back in place. There's two little "dowels" on either side of the piece which slot into the outer edge of the knee vent hole in the dash, its just nigh on impossible to get both sides clicked into place.

If I can wangle the time I will be over. Bring the vent with you just incase.

I'm prepping a few things for kilnsey show but I'm sure I can sort something out.
