I currently don't have a full garage but have a car port that will keep any rain off the vehicle. Will this be sufficient to keep a Tuscan in tip top condition or should I look at converting it into a proper heated garage before thinking about purchasing one. When I get one I plan to keep it for decades! =)

Well ideally we'd all have a garage like Jay Leno but I kept a Chimaera in great nick for 9 years just by using one of those leven top half only covers. A car port should be fine if it is big enough to keep driven rain out. Otherwise get the cover as well.

Awesome thank you =) - it will have doors blocking rain from the sides but it won't be heated is the only thing. I assume if I keep it serviced/waxoyled chassis I should be ok? Any areas particularly prone to rust?

I have had TVRs for around 14 years now and they have always been kept outside with no problem at all relating to being out side.
There is a TVR under there somewhere.

My Tuscan was also outside for a month or so, While I did work in the garage, through snow and ice, to no ill effect, just run it to keep it charged, and make sure the rear window's sealing well, and should be ok.

Whilst a garage would be ideal, mine sits outside in all weather with a full cover. No problems so far.

There's no real issue with chassis corrosion on the Tuscan but just make sure it's protected & use the car regularly.
