Road tyres for winter/wet weather commuting

The tyres on my road bike are fine in the dry, but a bit scary in the wet. As I use the bike for commuting, this is only going to get worse, so I'm looking for some tyres for winter.

Having doen a quick search, I've found these:

Which look good because they're clearly designed with wet weather performance in mind, they're reasonably priced and I like the fact that they have reflective sidewalls.

So any opinions? Are these any good and do people have any other suggestions?
