I need as many 8x4 sheets of anything as I can get hold of. It's used to separate layers of shopping trolleys, and tends to get damaged pretty easily, so I don't want to go to Wickes and pay £10/sheet. Any ideas on where to get used or damaged sheet material?

try building reclaim yards, even building sites as they will have some that would probably have been damaged or used as hoarding.

Drop me a pm, I may be able to help, assuming MFC is good enough.

Try 11mm OSB (the stuff they use for boarding up broken windows) - it's pretty cheap especially if you need to buy lots.

Bugger - even that's not as cheap as I remember it being. Last time I bought some it was about £5 a sheet!!

Just in case my reply ends up in your spam box, as always seems to be the case, I thought I better let you know I have replied. thumbup

Got it, thanks very much! I'll get a tape measure to see if we have a van big enough, and get back to you.
