I have an October 2009 E91 330D. It's coming up for it's first oil & brake fluid change. I've been quoted £345 all in including the pollen filter for this work. DOes that sound steep/reasonable? Firsttime I'm putting in a beemer for a service.

From a main dealer that sounds about what they charge, IIRC.

Yes, BMW main dealer since it's still under factory warranty. They told me it would all be done in 90mins, so I thought maybe it was a little on the high side. If I buy my own oil & filter it costs around £100, so that's £245 for brake fluid change incl new fluid, labour on oil change plus labour on pollen filter plus new filter.

You can use an indie, just make sure the indie uses Genuine BMW parts (if the indie is worth his salt he will anyway on a 2009 car), they cannot void your warranty, Block exemption rules.
