I am a senior observer with the IAM Leicester group and have been out of work for 3+ years now so am bored

The upside is that I have loads of free time so anyone who wants a free driving assessment or wants to try a little bit of advanced driving is welcome to contact me for a FREE assessment

Not certain of this - is there is a private message system on here ?

Hi R0G,
I live in Leicester, and would definitely be interested in an assesment.
I'll send you a PM (i.e. PH private email) with my contact details.
Cheers,
-Chris

That sounds like a good offer. It's a pity that you're not closer to Manchester.

Not when I enquired. They said they've need to check with head office...

HQ will not officially sanction FREE stuff but the groups are able to as they are only affiliated to the IAM which allows them to make up their own policies on this issue

In a similar manner, I'd be happy to go for a drive with any PH member that can get to Bristol. I'd probably prefer to call it a 'chat about advanced driving' rather than an assessment though.

I will go into the advanced driving stuff if the person being assessed wishes to but I will not push it as the idea is to use my experience of assessing drivers and then offer comments or advice IF THEY WISH ME TO DO SO
