Hi All,

I'm heading to Normandy and then across to Verdun, maybe via a stop at the old track at Reims.

The problem is what to do next? I think the Black Forest is too far south as I only have 3 days to get back to Dunkirk. So Iam thinking of heading East into Germany and up through Belgium.'

I'm trying to use the best biking roads and some other sites on this forum but would welcome any recommendations for this area.

Cheers

you are right by the ardenne forest , malmemdy, bastogne, great roads in that area, the head for Bouilion for a night if you have extra time do the route des la cretes south and the route des les vins back north from Verdun

GMan thanks for your suggestions - really really helpful.

Looks like we will be staying in Thann after driving down from Verdun, doing the Route Des le cretes, coming back on the Route des vins d'Alsace and then heading north from there.

I'd like to head through Bouillion, Bastogne and maybe Malmedy before dashing back to Dunkerque too.

Anyone thoughts on somewhere nice to stay in between Strasbourg and Bouillion?

Kazino: Many thanks but doesn't look like I'll get time for the BF on this one frown may do another trip over later in the year...biggrin
