Soffit Downlights
Discussion
I'd like to install soffit downlights accross the front of the house. To be on all night, so i am looking at 12v i guess (I've had 240v GU10s before, and seemed to be changing a bulb every weekend!. 6 lights in total Maybe LED?
My experience of LED lighting is varied, i have seen some that aren't very bright at all, but some that are really bright.
There's that many different lights etc available, i don;t know where to start. I was hoping someone might have some fitted that they can recommend.
Thanks
Andy

I'd look at something like these

IP65 so "should" be ok.

Thanks, that looks like the sort of thing i'm after. Ideally with LED bulbs so it doesn;t cost the earth to leave them on! By my calcs, to leave 10 of these standard bulbs (12v / 50w) on for an average of 12 hours per evening would cost nearly £40 per month versus about £4 for LED.
Does anyone have anything LED fitted ? I've seen one down the road from me, and the light looks poor. I'm not sure if that's because they are using "old technology" led bulbs ferom a few years ago.
Cheers
