it occured to me some time ago, that a lot of these modern super/hyper cars are starting to look very similar... seems to be a lack of imagination...

I've noticed this too, and you can add the new Koenigsegg to the list as well. It's a shame; I don't think there are that many outlandishly styled hyper cars out there at the moment, at least not from the mainstream hyper car makers. Even the new Pagani has soft edges compared to the Zonda and although the front of the new lambo is

The point is, the general shape and layout of a car lends itself to a certain profile, if you stick it in a tunnel and try and get rid of all the problems. Obviously not all of them come out looking the same, in the same way that not all aeroplanes look the same. But a lot of them look rather similar.
Yep - and I agree. I think supercars should look like that. There's a certain specialness to them because they adopt that shape that makes them stand out from normal cars such as hatchbacks and 4x4s.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
