is it just me, or are modern hypercars looking a bit samey..

ascari kz1, mclaren mp4-12c, noble m600, (new)lotus esprit........ the list goes on...

it occured to me some time ago, that a lot of these modern super/hyper cars are starting to look very similar... seems to be a lack of imagination...

I've noticed this too, and you can add the new Koenigsegg to the list as well. It's a shame; I don't think there are that many outlandishly styled hyper cars out there at the moment, at least not from the mainstream hyper car makers. Even the new Pagani has soft edges compared to the Zonda and although the front of the new lambo is /, but the rear too Audi-ish for me :|

Yep - and I agree. I think supercars should look like that. There's a certain specialness to them because they adopt that shape that makes them stand out from normal cars such as hatchbacks and 4x4s.
