A1/ E65 Motorway Toll Road from Zagreb to Split - Croatia

Im just back from having taken my car through 10 countries.
the best and quietest motorway section i found was over 400kms going from the Slovenian border to Split in Croatia.
the road is absolutely awesome. its only 2 lanes either side wide but its quiet and needless to say the weather is incredible. even across country its an interesting road, plenty tunnels and then as it comes to the coast, it bends down the mountain side.
very impressive and everyone speeds. Unfortunately having been speeding all day long, i got grabbed from behind by an unmarked Mercedes C class which happened literally just before the payage exit. very annoying.
