Ok, Annual topic

Who's going to the Castle Combe Trackday next Friday?

If any body with a Chim, Grif of Cerb falls foul of the sound man I'll have a couple of sets of silencers with me, happy to let anybody borrow them.

Hi Andrew...I don't think you live a million miles from me in SSQ!

I hope to get along for a while on Friday - work permitting!
BTW - The Wilts region are having a post-trackday meeting on Friday evening about a mile or so from J 17 of the M4 - if any trackday attendees wish to call in on their way home, you'll be very welcome.
See the Wilts website for details - www.tvrcc-wiltshire.co.uk

Cheers,
Paul

I'm going to be there as a passenger in Garry's Griff. Last year was fantastic. A real scorcher too. I got fried cos I forgot sun lotion. Also, for anyone reading this who hasn't been before; remember to take a long sleeved shirt with you on the day as you have to wear one whilst out on the track. I won't say who forgot to take one last year but he had to wear a thick lambswool sweater for each session and had lost about a stone by the end of the day!

Well, I didn't pay last year! But as you're coming a long way, I just called the circuit for you, and they said TVRCC are responsible for running the event so there's no charge.

Thank you for finding out, currently working but would like to have a look at a track day before trying one, also think the Cerby is a bit loud in current form.

Are there any spaces left? Didn't think I was going to be free, but looks like commission is winding up early, so I'll have the day off!

www.weather.co.uk gives you 10 days advance forecast. Generally reasonably accurate too.

Paul, yes I was aware that you are based at the other end of SSQ, quite a collection developing in the village! Shaun has told me about the monthly get togethers. I will try to make it along to the post trackday meet. See you next week.

I would have been comming but for the fact that my Tusc is off the road after being smashed into. I'm not sure that the Hire Company would be too keen for me to bring their Cerbie

Interesting one, I do not possess a long sleeved shirt. I cannot drive with things around my wrists they annoy me.
I’ll have to get a suitable shirt I guess.
