Adjusting throttle pedal

Morning all!

I am trying to get the seating positon correct in my Cerb and need to adjust the throttle pedal. Clearly the brake and clutch are easy things to wind in and out, however I need to bring the throttle closer to me by about an inch or two but cant remember if its possible.

The alternative is to wind in the clutch and brake, but then im sitting too close to the steering wheel.

Probably shouldn't admit to it, but a block of wood behind the pivot to support the top of the lever and "gently" pull on the pedal to bend the arm into the right position worked for me. You need to be careful not to over adjust it, but its the only way I could find without welding a threaded tube on to give the same sort of adjustment as the clutch and brake.

"Gently" isn't very - its a substantial bit of metal.

I had my peddle box brought forward but the clutch and brake pushed back as they were to close together.

How about adjusting the steering wheel forward if your to close to it.

I'm 5'7" so I know what you mean about reach etc. I have to sink underneath the wheel on max power runs

You can wind out the throttle peddle, depends on the amount of thread left.

Alternate is to buy some Leven extensions. Part number: SSP 6 Cost £114.89

I had to by Leven ones as my throttle did not screw out.

The standard throttle pedal, at least on some years, isn't adjustable - there is no screw thread on it at all. I think the adjustable throttle was either an option or an after market part.
