What is the best way to obtain tickets for football matches? they are expensive nowadays - just wondering what methods you all PH'ers use.

tips and so on would be good (i have hearing loss if that helps? :P)

I have a contact for Manchester United tickets, basically you use season tickets of people who cant/dont want to attend, usually at face value. He has access to hundreds of tickets. He has never let me down for the Derby, Chelsea or Arsenal, I did fail to get tickets for the bin dippers once though. Depends which club you want to see and who they are playing?

Buy them from the Box Office or the Ticket Hotline

i did for brighton and hove, they were £30 a head which i thought was extreme for a championship side

Was just checking you could hear me if I typed this loud. Most ticket avenues will be around face value
