Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

We've had a porch built and the builders have left some cable in for our video door entry system. The 'doorbell' with camera is at the front near the door and the intercom inside the house. Anyway, the issue we have is that the cable is too far away from the door so we need some sort of bracket to angle the doorbell toward the door - Sort of like a wedge shape.

Do these kind of brackets exist? We'd like something strong and weather proof if possible. The door entry system is an Enterview 4.

Cheers!

I am sure a local engineer could knock one up - or would a painted wooden wedge not work?

Or is extending the cable a definate no? If its a bodge with a wedge it would annoy me every time I came home!

A chippy should be able to make a wooden wedge up for it.

Alternatively PM me and with details of your entry system and I'll take to one of the main door entry frame makers in the UK.

Not sure if wood would look ok, but that is a good idea. I was hoping for something that might match the actual unit, which is kind of a gun metal grey steel box.

VEX - Cheers! PM sent
