The Red Lion Lodge/Ruen Thai Restaurant is the venue for this months Mid Beds TVR Meet, on Sunday 20th June, from 12 noon to 2pm. The Red Lion Lodge is on the A600 between Bedford and Shefford in the quaintly named hamlet of Deadman's Cross
Unlike last month, I have been assured that Thai food will be available! You can see the menu in the Lunches section on www.redlionlodgeandruenthai.co.uk.
There is a large car park and an outdoor eating area if anyone wants to top up on their tans.
All interesting cars are welcome.

Thinking of bringing the MR2? Yes why not, it looks a bit like a TVR Wedge if you squint a bit. See you Sunday!

I don't have an interesting car - but can pop along although from previous posts on this meet-up ...I'm still not sure if I'm welcome or not.

Just had a really fun lunchtime beer there

Got there fashionably late....though that was because it was Father's day and my dad wouldn't get off the phone. Strolled nonchalantly into the pub ( after trying to open the 2 front doors that were shut)....so thought typical as I retraced my steps and used the tradesmans' entrance
Immediately spotted an odd-ball type group sitting down to lunch - so asked the barman where the TVR lot were. Only sitting at the bar right beside me
"My name is condor" I rather arrogantly introduced myself....and proudly told them I drove a boring car.
Apart from montegogt...the others used the site but not the forums...I only found that out later

Lots of interesting chat(flying enthusiasts as well)..lots of laughter ...and hopefully the ones that use the site will now check out the forums
Really good afternoon Thouroughly enjoyed it

Will certainly attend the next ones
....montegogt even wanted to look under my bangers bonnet so he could get dirty hands

Thanks Lee

Dear Condomlady,
We are pleased that you found our little gathering to be entertaining. Oneself and one's wife were pleased that Clappedham folk had managed to stray sowf of the meandering Ouse . I expect it must have been a culture shock for you . Now that you are no longer a Mid Beds Meet virgin , I'm sure you would like to experience it again?

3rd Sunday! Deadman's Cross. A600. 12.00-14.00. Thai food, Thai beer if you want it.

Only slightly damp around the hood dept Tom Tom. It was just a few minute shower so it didn't dampen our spirits...booom boom!
You missed the in depth forum on the merits of fitting Saab bumpers to Griffs...
Coming next month?

Indeed ...as long as it doesn't clash with a GP

I'll try the Thai beer next time

I had to give my report at least 6 times at the LB meet the next night

The Phuket beer is very nice.
Can I have a transcript of your LB report, and another for my lawyer?
Was it damp in Bedford last night? Anything particularly interesting?
