Is this Gearbox Oil I can see seeping between a Bellhousing seal?

I did notice this a little while back, but 1st gear is now becoming more stubborn to select a little more often.

Are they related? And what to do about the very slight weep? As I guess in time it'll only get worst.

Yes gearbox oil an easy fix just take the end plate off clean it up & put some silicone on it, remember to put something under it to catch the oil first though!!

The first gear issue is unlikly to be related as it doesnt look like its lost a lot but some fresh oil will probably help smile

Is that silicone applied to the two contact points of the bell housing and the face plate? And do you know if there's a seal that will need replacing between the two?

yes there is a gasket but they are a waste of time save it & put it back with the silicone if you can but otherwise silicone on its own will work fine smile
