Can someone tell me what age TVR stopped using clatter pots , i have a 1998 4.2 34k bright yellow ,,

Instead of mixing your metaphors you seem to be mixing your car parts. Clatter cams were changed mid '97 (although cars on the line could possibly have continued to be assembled after this). Throttle pots have always been dodgy (some are 'noisy', putting out a fluctuating signal even when stationary) but like any parts, can be AOK for ages, or need changing every two minutes

Yea ,i realised as soon as i posted it that id made a right horses ass out of myself,
So there is a strong chance mine will have been uprated , I havent bought a car as early as 98 before u see
