Not to mention the article writer with talk of 'erecting' consummation areas.

Maybe 'building' them would have been an anticlimax.

A govt installed meter which accepted both your money and your John Thomas would be no more surprising.

I didn't realise street prostitution was legal in germany. I thought it was brothels only.
Personally I don't care what someone wants to do with their body, but I think the only safe way to keep prostitution safe and legal is to only allow it in registered brothels with bouncers on hand.

There's plenty of bouncers in a Brothel. Some of them you can't even get your hands round.

In some countries, such activities are legit and have very specific taxation and licencing regimes.

Even in the UK, income derived from what could be a criminal activity are technically taxable - although such income is unlikely to be declared for obvious reasons.

Where I worked before did have a professional 'escort' as a client, so some do declare it.

Prostitution should be fully legalised and then tax collected as with any other service industry, but vestiges of old fashioned morality combined with feminism stand in the way.

Haven't they seen Monty Python?

Tax on 'Thingy'

laugh

I like the vox pops at the end:

"I would tax Racquel Welch.... and I've a feeling she'd tax me."
