I have been left about £6k from my mum and dad's estate in the form of shares - they are now in my name and I've rec'd a few divi payments. I've been told that I can transfer these into an ISA and therefore won't pay tax on any gains or income. How do i do that? Do I do that via Charles Stanley (current stockbroker) or can I do it myself?

I'm not too bothered about 'trading' at the moment but would like to have the option at a later date. I guess I'm after a cheap but flexible option! Is that possible?

Cheers
