It's the bollard. That model the BLX-21A would normally have an orange reflective strip but surprisingly seems to have been modified with a white one. It's quite a rarity.

Last week i saw a girl driving a MINI with eye lashes, she was obviously embarrassed by driving the car as her face was bright orange.

Viewing on a small window, didn't see second photo. Trying for the life of me to work out what it was about the plate I was missing.

Gave up. Scrolled down. All became clear.

/sigh Its going to be a long day when I miss stuff like that.

didnt the 'new' beetle come with them as an option at one point??

or was it just a stupid aftermarket upgrade the girlies bought to go with the giant vision obscuring flower on the dashboard?

They stop flies and moths splatting the headlights. They close instantly they detect one aiming itself towards your car. See nothing wrong with them.
