1.6 CVH Tuning

I've got a 1989 Reliant Scimitar SS1 running a 1.6 cvh with bike carbs and a powerflow exhaust. I'm looking for more power and just wondering if anyone would have any suggestions?

Might be a bit much but turning it into a zvh with a 2000cc bottom head but using your head would be the cheapest & best way to give more power with a good amount of torque as well
