Ignition Coil

Anyone help with the the Lucas part number for the ignition coil - or tell me which car/model etc it came from - for a 5ltr R-reg chim. The manual suggests a bosch replacement and gives a part number but no auto-part dealers seem to recognise the reference.

well the 4 litre takes this one:

thanks for that , just phoned my local indy landy mender (i run a disco as well) and he's quoted £75.70 - an auto part dealer yesterday reckoned the lucas jobby (if he had the right part number was only 17 quid - seems a very big difference ?

By manual I assume the bible which is the same part number as the link quotes.

You need to go to a Bosch agent to get it because most other factors will try and cross refernece it to a pattern part which is a waste of time as they typically die quickly.

Land Rover dealer should have them as well.

just fro info if anyone else has the part number problems on the ignition coil the bosch number is 0221 122 395
