Help me identify this car...

It turned up in a barn where my mate shoots. I reckon it's an Opel Manta, but the stars'n'stripes paintjob makes me think it might be something American...

I can see why Manta from the front lights and nose but I've seen something American/Australian that looks similar at the front. Was the Mad Max car a Ford Falcon, is that a similar shape at the front?

That looks exactly right, look at the half of a sticker just in front of the wheel arch - it's either that precise car or a very good replica of it!

I think its a rep of that one, if you look at the starts on the front offside corner they are much lower on the one under the cover

Edit to add: It might have had an accident at some point though because the stars are not in exactly the same place.

The Stars n stripes Manta was supposed to be racing at Mallory Park

last weekend in a Mod saloons /thundersaloons retro race .

Did anyone go to that and see it ?
