Bit of a bargain at B&Q at the minute, £49.98 for their 2200W 45cm saw. Comes with an Oregon bar and chain and it's pretty good. Just cut this down (800mm+ x 650mm+) and it's still going strong. Plenty of power, bought it as I was cutting into the the roots as well and didn't want to knacker my Stihl.
