On the Ferry ... Hood on or Off?

Hello,

Should I keep the hood on or off while on the ferry?

(Basically, take off hood now, or keep it on till I get to the other side and then take it off?)

On for security and to stop poking and proding from fellow passengers as they get to/from their cars. as well as enthusiastic ferry sailors!

Your insurers would go spare if you tried to claim for anything stolen from the vehicle too..

Presuming this a 'Le Mans' ferry if you've got it off for the drive down, and it looks like being sunny over the river, then leave it off, obviously don't leave anything of any value in the cockpit though

ON! they could park you on the deck!!

They did with mine last year, looked a loverly shade of Crytal Topaz, trouble is it's Crimson Starmist!

On one trip to Weymouth a few years ago the fire extinguishers on the ferry's car deck went off and the whole car was coated in white powder.

Easy to wash off the outside of the car !!!
