Thanks to Eurojag I have a good as new wood/leather steering wheel for my 2000 XKR. Are there any precautions to be taken, other than a battery disconnect, in removing the old wheel? I am a bit nervous due removing the airbag.
Easy enough, there are 4 I beleive torx screws in the back of the steering wheel, unscrew these, air bag comes off, disconnect the plug, undo the centre nut but leave it slightly on then give a good tug.
