Chuffed to bits to see that one of the many pics i took of the harvest in and around the St Neots area over the past few months (Some on here may have seen a few of the pics i posted onto the spotted thread ^ for kicks a few weeks ago!) was deemed worthy of winning the Farmers Weekly Harvest highlights Competition and earned itself a place on the front cover the mag this week!

Took the snap whilst riding aboard a John Deere combine in a field opposite the B645 near Hail Weston! Has made all the slogging around in the sticks this summer so much more worthwhile!

An odd decision indeed to shut my other thread... Was only intending on putting it in the two forums anyway, hardly a mass cross post.
Unfortunately no money changed hands, but seeing of a load of other decent snaps and getting on the cover is satisfaction enough for me! Might have to enter a few more enticing compe incentive wise sometime though...
